Controls

Up Down Enter/Power
  • Up

    Short Press: Switch to the previous image.

    Long Press: Display cards/up.png (See Cards)

  • Enter/Power

    Powers on GifBadge from powered off state.

    Opens the menu, and selects options

  • Down

    Short Press: Switch to the next image.

    Long Press: Display cards/down.png (See Cards)

  • brightness_medium (Brightness Adjustment)

    Adjust the display brightness

  • File Select

    Open the File Select menu

  • Storage

    Open the Storage menu

  • Device Info

    Open the Device Info menu

  • Shutdown

    Power off the GIFBadge

  • Exit

    Exit the menu

File Select

  • image (Image Select)

    Displays the currently selected image. Hitting the center button opens the image selector.

  • lock (Lock)

    Lock the display to the currently selected image. This prevents changing the displayed image with the up and down buttons.
    Note: Disables Slideshow

  • slideshow (Slideshow)

    Enables/Disables slideshow. Slideshow will cycle through all images in a folder, in alphabetical order.

  • slideshow Timer (Slideshow Time)

    Set the slideshow time in 15 second increments.
    Range: 15 seconds to 3 minutes

  • save (Save)

    Save settings and exit

  • cancel (Exit)

    Exit without saving settings

Cards

The cards feature allows an image to be displayed when holding the up or down buttons, reverting to previous image when released. This can be used to display a business card or QR code, etc.
To use, create a folder on the sdcard called cards, and name your image up.png for the up button, or down.png for the down button
